“I never lose. I either win or I learn.” – Nelson Mandela Alright, so I weighed myself this morning and came out at 262. I maintained from last week. I let my leg hurting get in the way of my plan. The water is shockingly cold for September. My wet suit is keeping me warm though as I revel in what’s about to be a new experience. I adjust my ski’s which places me into a squatting positon. As best as I can tell I am ready to do what I have always deemed impossible; I give the thumbs up and the boats engine roars to … Continue reading Colby’s Corner: The “Moments”
Colby’s Corner: “If they can do it, why not us?”
I’m just about finished with my audio book about Napoleon! I took a small break from my presidential biographies to listen to the 30 hour plus book ha. He plays such a large role in American politics and policies during his life that it helps round out the time period. So, a little confession about me: I love history and specifically I enjoy biographies. It’s … Continue reading Colby’s Corner: “If they can do it, why not us?”

I’m quite lucky to have … Continue reading Colby’s Corner: Shaking but Not Shaken
